notes: of course after spending so much effort cultivating some "what's happened to redline" drama, the first thing i write is redline-pov.

no double updates this week. i didn't get nearly as much written on this as i wanted. i wrote random pairing oneshots instead.

i really don't know what's gotten into me. it's not like i don't have any real stories to be working on, yet i just can't stop playing with the random pairing generator. it's like an addiction. maybe i need a support group. random pairing fic writers anonymous, maybe? but RPFWA really isn't that great an acronym...

yeah... that's what it's like. my first attempt at any sort of interfacing/sex and jazz-muse turns it into a crackfic. i don't even 'ship optimus/megatron primusdamnit.

yes i know i didn't do any of my normal weekend posts. screw it. it was a boring weekend. and their only purpose is to ramble about my cat for lordchaos359 anyway. not that i don't like rambling about my cat, but ... whatever.

so ... working on "were-cars":

i happen to love rhythm as a character and i know his pov is nescessary so that the reader gets an idea of the politics of the were-car track that's happening in the story, but i can't help but feel that as far as the story is concerned, that's the only reason to have his pov. it just seems that when rhythm and prowl are in a scene together, there's nothing in rhythm's pov i can't get from prowl's as well -- and i admit prowl's pov is just a little bet easier for me to write. prowl's narration voice is very similar to my own omincient narration voice, which not only makes it very easy for me to smoothly switch from on to the other, also makes prowl's narration sound much more natural.

i think this means that, for were-cars at least, i'm probably going to go a few chapters using only prowl's pov, until i have an issue with the were-cars or other shapeshifters i need to bring up.

which on the other hand kinda sucks, because i happen to like the way rhythm thinks and there are minor issues going on in his head i need to bring up, but since only a few of them will be more than a few sentences long, i think they're going to have to wait to be dumped into the next rhythm-pov chapter.
