i'm not sure why i've been so tired this week. well perhaps not tired but unenthusiastic about things computer related at least. it's not like there hasn't been neat and fun stuff going on, just that when i think "hey maybe that might be a good thing to record in my lj" the emotional response has been kinda "blah".

so since i've signed on to talk about sat at the farmers' market, i think i'll go through the rest of this past week in overview as well:

mon -- to was hot during the day so when things started cooling down i took smoke out and two guys stopped to talk because she was cute. we talked and one of them is the gm for a tabletop rp game he runs in the student center. so that was cool. i've been rather deprived of actual role play games ('cause video games don't count). he also mentioned a larp which i might check out after the quarter's over.

tue -- the nice hot/warm weather disappeared and it rained. worked on were-cars a bit, but i've gotten to a point where i can either wait for the characters to tell me what they're doing, or try and force it. and if i force it, it'll probably just come out rather stilted.

wed -- not much. did homework and played video games. and smoke figured out out how to open the cupboard and decided that was a nice place to sleep. this isn't really a problem since i don't really care where she sleeps but this was the cupboard where i was keeping my nice suede jacket -- which now has cat hair all over it. i'm going to try and take the hair off with a brush and i hope that works, because it it doesn't, it'll be expensive to have that sucker cleaned.

thurs -- finished my color matching project in my painting class. spent most of the day actually just trying to match the blue color. and probably went through every shade of camouflage green to match the dull green color.

fri -- movie night. i watched "the american president" which i haven't watched in a long time and ate cookies. it was horribly unproductive of me, but i suppose better than playing video games the way i normally do.

sat (today) -- last night i had a really surreal dream about a human-sized starscream and skyfire at an arts and crafts fair. made more surreal because, with the exceptions of a few different recurring dreams, if i remember my dreams, they're usually in the third-person which allows for me to visualize myself as any of the involved characters. it was weird.

today at the market. i had a cheese croisant for breakfast and only bought smoked salmon and a strawberry soda. i'm going to save the rest of the money for buying dinner on mon -- the rp group is going to let me watch their game and maybe learn how to play. they use a very different system than the one i'm used to -- smoke had a good time. the weather was nice.

right now i think she's sleeping in the linen cupboard.
