The woman currently known as Andraya Glaser sprayed the catstink onto the window's lock before picking it. Technically she was welcome to come in the front door -- and in some ways doing so would make this so much simpler -- but as this was a bit of theater for the benefit of those who would come looking for her victim in the morning, it was best to do it correctly. She oiled the hinges on the window before opening it and it opened silently.

Andraya surveyed the two occupants of the room. Both were still sound asleep. Silent as the cat who's subtle, musky scent covered the thief's boots and clothes, she stalked over to her target's lover. Andraya had heard about Belzac's death, but had been too busy to come by. She'd offer he condolences later tonight; for now... she pricked the sleeping girl with a sleep-poison covered arrow she'd nicked from a hunter earlier. Satisfied the girl would remain asleep for a few seconds, she turned her attention to the other woman.

Tamrissa jerked awake, her cry of surprise muffled by Andraya's hand, and fire gathering at her finger tips.

"Quiet Excellency." Tamrissa stilled, recognizing the voice of her captor.

The thief grinned in the darkness. "Kidnappin' y'. Th' files I gave y' on Loony an' 'er cohorts where they c'n be found?"

"Files? Yes -- they're in my desk. Andraya? What's going on?"

"Tell y' on th' way." The poisoned arrow would only keep the other woman asleep for a few seconds longer. "Put some scorchmarks on th' walls, will y'."

As the leader of the Order of the Silver Rose did so, Andraya threw the poisoned dagger she carried into the wall with a *thunk*. Tamrissa looked at it curiously. "'S Loony's. I leafed it an' 'er tabard. Gotta git 'er tabard at leas' back t' 'er b'fore she misses it. C'mon."

Tamirssa nodded and allowed Andraya to lead her out the window.

Last thing the thief did was slam the window closed on the tabard she wore -- the one stolen from Vianaa, her superior in the Lampligher's Guild -- and tore it loose, leaving a scrap of fabric behind.

On the street, Andraya grinned at Tamrissa. "C'mon," she said again and lead the other woman into the canals.
